MY (NOT SO) SECRET STARGATE ADDICTION
This project was my first deep dive into hard surface modeling—and what better place to start than the legendary ships and structures of the Stargate universe? I focused on recreating key props from the show with attention to form, function, and the aesthetic complexity of sci-fi machinery.
Along the way, I developed my own custom displacement system using Blender Geometry Nodes to generate intricate paneling and surface detail—allowing for modular, non-destructive workflow across different assets. The result: a technically challenging, creatively thrilling project that sharpened my skills in mechanical design, surface logic, and visual storytelling.
